Abstract

Boundaries of cortical areas (Figs. 68–72) were determined in Nissl- and myelin-stained sections by the quantitative method described above (p. 6). In most cases the areal borders delineated in Nissl- and myelin-stained specimens from the same plane coincided precisely. In a few cases the areal boundaries shown are based on analysis by only one of the methods.
