Abstract
There are many nuclei, namely, 13C, 15N etc. which can give valuable information about the electronic structure of molecules. Because of their low natural abundance their homonuclear dipolar coupling is very weak and the coupling to abundant spins such as protons can be eliminated by decoupling techniques, resulting in a high resolution spectrum.
