Zusammenfassung
Führung in der Wissenschaft ist herausfordernd und komplex. Gleichzeitig ist effektive Führung ein zentraler Erfolgsfaktor für Forschungsteams. Ethikorientierte Führung kann die Motivation und Leistung von Mitarbeiter*innen steigern, destruktives Führungsverhalten dagegen wirkt sich in der Regel negativ aus. Dieses Kapitel gibt einen Überblick über die Forschung zu ethikorientierter und destruktiver Führung in der Wissenschaft und praktische, evidenzbasierte Handlungsempfehlungen zur Förderung von Führungskompetenzen in Einrichtungen der Forschung und Lehre.
