Zusammenfassung

Das West-Syndrom ist eine altersgebundene epileptische Enzephalopathie heterogener Ätiologie definiert durch BNS-Anfälle, eine Hypsarrhythmie im EEG und psychomotorische Entwicklungsstörungen. Die erfolgreiche Anfallsbehandlung ist schwierig, die individuelle Prognose unsicher.
