Zusammenfassung
Eine wesentliche Partialfunktion von Enterozyten besteht in ihrer Fähigkeit zur Triglyceridbiosynthese. Die intestinale Synthese von Triglyceriden verläuft über drei différente Stoffwechselwege, die ihren Ausgangspunkt von drei verschiedenen akzeptorenaktivierten Fettsäuren nehmen. In Abhängigkeit von der Struktur des Acylakzeptors unterscheidet man den Monoglycerid-, den Glycerinphosphat- und den Dihydroxyacetonphosphatstoffwechselweg [4]. Während diese drei Stoffwechselwege im Hinblick auf den Acylakzeptor differieren, haben sie als gemeinsames Substrat aktivierte langkettige Fettsäuren, die als CoA-Derivate (Acyl-CoA) übertragen werden. Das die Synthese von Fettsäure: CoA-Ester durch Knüpfung einer Thioesterbindung katalysierende Enzym ist die Fettsäure: CoA-Ligase (EC 6.2.1.3), ein Schlüsselenzym des Fettsäuremetabolismus. Die folgende Gleichung zeigt die durch dieses Enzym vermittelte Reaktion:
