Zusammenfassung
Chemische Kampfstoffe sind zur Kriegsführung produzierte toxische Chemikalien, die zu einer temporären Handlungsunfähigkeit, Dauerschädigung oder Tod führen können. Bei dem geringsten Verdacht auf die Freisetzung von C-Kampfstoffen muss der Rettungseinsatz mit angelegter persönlicher Schutzausrüstung (Atemschutzmaske mit Aktivkohlefilter, Schutzanzug) fortgesetzt werden, da ohne suffizienten Eigenschutz ein weiteres Vorgehen zu Ausfällen oder Todesfällen des Rettungspersonals führen kann. C-Kampfstoffe werden unterteilt in Nerven-, Haut-, Blut-, Lungen- und Psychokampfstoffe. Das Kapitel beschreibt die einzelnen Kampfstoffe, insbesondere ihre Symptomatik sowie die therapeutischen Optionen.
