Abstract
The integration of product and service shares to IPS2 shall increase the customer value and considers manifold customer requirements. For effective planning, development and delivery of service shares the assessment of service productivity is purposeful. As an example, the introduction of a tool management system as a service share will be considered. The integration of the tool management system into an IPS2 influences the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The impact of the service share on the OEE is quantifiable and is comparable to the costs of this service share. Thus, the productivity of the regarded service share can be determined.
