Zusammenfassung

Junge Frauen mit Herzerkrankungen erhoffen für sich die gleichen Chancen im Leben wie ihre gesunden Altersgenossinnen ohne Herzerkrankungen. Dies bezieht sich auch auf die Möglichkeit, Kinder zu bekommen. Somit sind die Beurteilung der Risiken einer Schwangerschaft und die ausführliche Beratung der Patientinnen ein wichtiger und besonders schwieriger Aspekt der kardialen Betreuung junger Frauen. Sowohl die Komplikationen für Mutter und Kind als auch das Risiko für einen Herzfehler des Kindes müssen berücksichtigt werden.
