Abstract

The reachability and controllability of positive descriptor systems are analyzed. Without nonnegative restrictions on the system, the reachability property is invariant under state feedbacks, but this is not true when a positive system is considered. In this work, some conditions on feedbacks are studied to obtain closed-loop positive systems preserving a structural property. In this way, it is worthwhile to obtain the corresponding reachable canonical form.
