Abstract
This section is designed to provide, in readily accessible form, the basic information you need to correctly use subroutines from EISPACK to solve an eigenprob lern. The way in which this information is presented is influenced by the design of the eigensystem package; hence we will first consider briefly the global structure of EISPACK.
