Electronic Body Music (EBM) ist ein bass- und rhythmusbetontes Genre der elektronischen Popmusik, dessen Songs oft einen martialischen und tendentiell düsteren Charakter haben. Bei den überwiegend mittelschnellen, um die 120 Beats per Minute (BPM) liegenden und tanzbaren EBM-Beats sind die Verwendung von Bass-Sequenzern und die betont maschinelle Quantifizierung der Rhythmen besonders typisch.
