Wir erkennen sofort, dass es sich um einen Brief handelt, obwohl ein kennzeichnendes Merkmal eines Briefs, die Anrede, fehlt. Ort und Datum am Anfang sind typisch für die Textsorte ›Brief‹. Diese Identifikation und Verarbeitung von spezifischen Textmerkmalen sind die Grundlage des Lesens als Form menschlicher Informationsverarbeitung.
