Zusammenfassung
Die Inspiration für das Thema dieser Studie stammt aus der Mitarbeit an dem europäischen Forschungsprojekt, ‚Urban Redevelopment and Social Polarisation in the City‘, für das ich am Arbeitsbereich Stadt- und Regionalsoziologie der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin beschäftigt war und auf dessen empirischen Ergebnissen die Studie zum Teil aufbaut. Hier lernte ich ein besonders anregendes Arbeitsumfeld kennen. Mein erster Dank geht daher an Prof. Dr. Hartmut Häußermann.
