Abstract
Tardigrades live in diverse habitats. Fundamental research on tardigrades is based on habitat sampling, sample processing, tardigrade culture and preparation for descriptive microscopy, identification and molecular studies. These methods are described and referenced in this chapter which I hope it will be a starting point especially for new tardigradologists.
