Abstract

Starting from two approaches (new design strategies for new healthcare facilities and network of mobile healthcare units in the territory) the paper states several considerations and approaches in new perspectives for improving the health status for people in West Bengal. In particular, the strong collaboration among NGOs and local NHS can have a strategic role in the improvement of the catchment area and ensuring health promotion in this Indian region.
