Abstract
One of the common complaints of nerve entrapment syndrome (NES) is neuropathic pain. Timely and effectively controlling pain is an important goal of NES treatment. Pharmacological treatment of painful NES provides noninvasive and effective pain relief, in both acute and chronic NES settings. It can be utilized as independent therapy or as an adjunct therapy along with interventional procedures or surgical treatment.
The most commonly used pharmacological treatment is discussed in this chapter, including non-opioid and opioid regimens, systemic, and topical agents.
