Abstract

Incidental extra-cardiac findings (IEF) are common during routine clinical cardiac magnetic resonance studies and are found in up to one quarter of patients. The majority of these findings is minor and of low clinical relevance, but it is essential that all incidental extra-cardiac findings are detected and adequately reported. The aim of this chapter is to provide the reader with a systematic approach to look for and report routine incidental extra-cardiac findings.
