Abstract
Laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization in TbFeCo has been studied with a dual-pum** system. Five different laser power combinations were performed at three different time intervals between the two pump pulses. The experimental results are also compared with computational simulations using the atomistic model. The results demonstrate that the ultrafast demagnetization can be controllably manipulated in both its magnitude and temporal response.
