Abstract

Mental health courses are the main way for universities to carry out mental health education for college students, and also an important means to achieve high-quality talent cultivation. In recent years, due to the frequent occurrence of psychological problems among college students, the state attaches great importance to the effectiveness of college students’ mental health courses, and has issued a series of policies and documents to guide the development of college students’ mental health courses, in order to improve the effectiveness of college students’ mental health education. Based on existing research, there are shortcomings in the traditional teaching mode of mental health courses, and the teaching effect needs to be improved. College students are in a period of rapid physical and mental development, and psychological health education for them is an important task for universities. This study is based on the research of practical teaching design for applied college mental health courses in virtual simulation scenarios. This study aims to explore how to use virtual simulation as a teaching method to improve learning quality. This study uses qualitative methods, namely, case studies and expert interviews, to test the effectiveness of different methods. In addition, there are two parts: theoretical background and practical application.
