One-Stage Septic Revision Arthroplasty

Abstract

Reinfection after one-stage exchange arthroplasty for PJI is a failure to achieve the goal of treatment and represents a challenging clinical problem for both clinicians and patients alike. With the increasing popularity of one-stage exchange for PJI, reinfection in this patient population is a problem surgeons will be faced with more in the future. Although studies in the last few years have been published reporting on this patient population, the literature remains quite limited.
