Abstract
This chapter starts by describing the interaction level of the HCS basic dog training, namely: Obedience Training (OT), Behavior Correction Training (BCT), and Pursuit Training (PT). The rest of the chapter present in detail these dog training approaches. More specifically, the obedience training discusses issues such as: the Basic issues of OT; Selection of a trainer; Observation of the training process; Requirements of OT; Basic principles of OT; Basic OT commands; Advanced commands; OT tools; Types of OT; Lessons of different OT; and OT format. The second part of the chapter presents Behavior Correction Training issues such as: Factors in BCT; Situations that create stress in dogs; and the Behavior Correction Training process. The final part of the chapter is concerned with Pursuit Training and examines issues such as: Theoretical background of PT; Pursue training process; High pursuit Instinct; and Symbiosis with other domestic animals.
