Abstract

When the oil reservoir is developed by water flooding, due to the differences in the physical properties and fluid characteristics of the reservoir, the seepage characteristics of water flooding in the oil layer are also different. Using the inter-well tracer monitoring technology, field tests were carried out on three types of oil reservoirs driven by water, and the seepage characteristics of the reservoirs were clarified by monitoring the production performance of the tracer in the production wells. In this study, it is believed that the seepage characteristics of front subfacies reservoirs are mainly controlled by factors such as sand body type and connectivity, permeability difference. It is channel sand, sheet sand, and off-surface sand. In the case of different connectivity types, the seepage effect is different; the greater the permeability gradient, the slower the water injection advance rate. In this paper, the influencing factors of water flooding seepage characteristics of front subfacies reservoirs are clarified, which provides a scientific basis for future development plan adjustment and effect evaluation.
