In diesem Kapitel werden die zentralen Ergebnisse des Buches vorgestellt und wichtige Implikationen für die Forschung über Regionalismus und externe Akteure aufgezeigt. Dazu gehört die Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Erkenntnisse aus den sieben eingehenden Fallstudienanalysen, aber auch die Interpretation der empirischen Evidenz vor dem Hintergrund der Theorie, um zu allgemeinen Schlussfolgerungen zu gelangen.
