Abstract

The fifth chapter will examine the framework of the foreign policy of the CHP by comparing and contrasting his foreign policy vision vis-à-vis Erdoğan. Four areas are relevant to the discussion, for comparing Kılıçdaroğlu’s positions with those of Erdoğan: Turkish relations with the Western powers, especially with the European Union, Turkey’s relations with Russia; Turkey’s relations with the Turkic world and the Eurasian diaspora and its position as a regional power, and Turkey’s relations with Middle East countries.
