Abstract

This chapter refers to the ICWES-XIV conference held in Lille, France, in 2008. It was organized by Conseil National des Ingénieurs et Scientifiques de France (CNISF), in partnership with National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)—(Mission pour la Place des Femmes au CNRS) and many European Associations of Women Engineers and Scientists. The chair was Monique Moutaud.

The main theme was “A Changing World: New Opportunities for Women Engineers and Scientists”. The technical and gender sessions presentations have not been reviewed. The Business meeting minutes of ICWES-XIV conference are located in Chap. 15. Testimonials were included in this chapter.
