Abstract
This chapter discusses servant leadership’s fundamental principles and characteristics based on its historical and philosophical foundations. The various dimensions and components of spiritual intelligence are briefly discussed based on the recently researched spiritual intelligence model related to servant leadership (Thakadipuram, Palgrave Studies in Workplace Spirituality and Fulfillment, Palgrave Macmillan, Cham, 2023: 31). Spiritual intelligence is differentiated from other forms of intelligence, while foundational intelligence provides basic support. The intersection of servant leadership and spiritual intelligence paves the way for enhancing leadership practices today. The benefit of applying and integrating these concepts is presented using case studies of leaders from for-profit and nonprofit sectors. The strategies for develo** SI and SL in the workplace are explored so that the leaders are equipped to deal with the complexity of organizational life. Addressing ethical concerns and critiques through mindful practice helps overcome the challenges and obstacles of integration. Potential areas for future research and exploration are identified to advance the synergistic integration of servant leadership with spiritual intelligence.
