Abstract

The paper describes the method of determining transport plans in urban areas considering various types of vehicles, including zero-emission vehicles. As part of the preliminary considerations, the authors carried out a literature review in the area of determining transport plans and transport organisation in urban areas. The following chapters include an overview of models for determining transport plans, a description of the transport structure and network elements, and formulating an optimisation task for determining transport plans. An original method of determining transport plans in urban areas was proposed. The method was verified in a case study. The case study aimed to optimize the cost of transport service considering such factors as the period of load distribution (so-called time window), range and load capacity of vehicles. The method was verified with the use of the Urbino application. The calculation example presented in the article verifies the operation of the application on the basis of the formulated method of determining the transport plans.
