Abstract

The chapter provides an overview of the disability sport system and sport participation by people with disabilities in Lithuania. Lithuania laws addressing the governmental, intermediate, non-governmental and secondary agents were analysed in order to present organization of disability sport in Lithuania at the national, regional and local level. In the chapter the data from the Lithuanian disability sports organizations, disability sports clubs and schools’ reports on national and local levels were presented through sport participation and barriers for participation.
