Abstract
Azoospermia is the absence of sperm in the ejaculate of a man. While this is confirmed by repeat semen analysis, it is further classified into obstructive or non-obstructive etiologies. The exact diagnosis is made based on patient history, physical examination, and adjunctive testing. Correct management, dictated by the precise etiology and type of azoospermia, may include hormonal treatment, surgical reconstruction or surgical sperm retrieval.
