Abstract
Tropical Atlantic Ocean is the smallest of the three tropical ocean basins. However, it has many distinct types of variations that manifest beyond the tropical latitudes of the Atlantic. The chapter discusses some of these features including the phenomenon of the Atlantic Niño, Benguela Niño, and the Atlantic Meridional Mode.
