Abstract

Structural chromosome aberrations or chromosome mutations represent apart from aneuploidies the most frequent pathologic findings in applied chromosome diagnostics. But they also occur as combinations of both types as in unstable rearrangements and in chaotic karyotypes of early stages of embryonic development.
