Abstract

This chapter reviews existing research on children’s early care and education (ECE) experience in Turkey. There are three sections. The first is ECE quality research worldwide; the second is ECE systems and services available to children and families in Turkey, and the third is ECE quality research in Turkey. A concluding part presents future directions and suggestions for researchers, educators, and policymakers in Turkey.
