Abstract
Climate change continues to have negative health effects on individuals, such as increasing the chronicity of diseases and the burden of environmental poisons that lead to expensive treatments. Global health organizations believe that medical services entail a responsibility to enact climate neutrality. Climate neutrality would be managed through goals leading toward the achievement of sustainability in hospitals, the environment, and healthcare. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a vision for sustainable healthcare by identifying the features of a sustainable healthcare system and the most important components of sustainability.
