Abstract
The economy consists not only of large markets but of thousands of niche markets. These are the home of the Hidden Champions. Division of labor, enlargement and standardization of markets, the deepening of value chains, product diversity, and the production of small things offer ever more opportunities for Hidden Champions. Modern communication and logistics allow even small companies to do business globally.
