Plane Finite Elements for Two-Dimensional Problems

Abstract

This chapter introduces the application of a graphical user interface (GUI), which allows a different way of providing the required data to define a model and to execute the calculation. The GUI is written using wxPython, a cross-platform GUI API for the Python programming language, under consideration of particular libraries. The GUI allows to export files in the Maxima format or even directly execute Maxima.
