Abstract
Affective disorders, which are primarily composed of bipolar and depressive disorders, have long been known to be associated with varying degrees of neuropsychological impairment. Recent research has begun to provide more specificity into neurocognitive domains associated with symptomatic and asymptomatic states in these disorders.
