Abstract

Intracerebral injection is used in animal model studies, and the stereotaxic technique is a popular approach. The mouse’s head is fixed with clamps before the injection. Because of high intracranial pressure, needle withdrawal is performed in stages to avoid fluid overflow. Such a procedure usually takes about 1 hour to complete. In this section, we describe a quick and efficient intracerebral injection technique which can be completed in a few minutes.
