Abstract
Intelligence testing aims to measure innate capacity to think, reason, form judgments, make distinctions, grasp concepts, and link information in novel, original ways. Intelligence tests are typically divided into many subtests, each one measuring a specific facet of intellectual ability. The subtests are then grouped into several cognitive domains that represent broader aspects of intelligence. Finally, there is a single, summary index of the individual’s overall measured intelligence.
