Abstract
The eyes of snakes are quite unique among vertebrates reflecting their evolutionary history and anatomical differences from other reptiles. Diseases of snake eyes and adnexa are relatively infrequently seen and poorly understood in clinical practice—those conditions encountered can be extremely frustrating to manage due to their anatomical peculiarities.
