Abstract

Hypertrophic pyloric stenosis is the main reason for nonbilious vomiting in the first 3 months of life and is diagnosed by ultrasound. Laparoscopic pyloromyotomy is the treatment of choice. Its technique, relevant pitfalls and useful tips and tricks are summarized here.
