Abstract
This chapter is aimed at Sponsors of Six Sigma projects, with a short summary on Six Sigma, basic recommendations for the management, the focus of Six Sigma projects, role and tasks of a Sponsor, human factors in change, sources for project topics, and success factors for Six Sigma projects and programs.

The tips are partly based on the results of S. Schindewolf’s unpublished Master’s thesis (2011) on Six Sigma programs in 78 German companies. Selected results of this thesis were published by Leyendecker et al. (2011). The tips are also based on new, unpublished results, based on the data collected by Schindewolf.
