Introduction
Islamic law (Sharia) is believed to provide a system of life, where its rules and instructions create a comprehensive code of governance in order for believers to succeed in this life and the Hereafter. On the one hand, it has a spiritual aspect “ibadat,” which focuses on the relation with the creator and the elevation of the soul. On the other hand, it also has a practical or material aspect “muamalat” that governs individuals’ interaction including their financial and commercial affairs. These two dimensions are intertwined and complement each other. Worshi** as an act of obedience to God is not limited to the religious rituals as individuals are reminded to worship God and observe Him in all their materialistic interactions “muamalat” by following His governing rules in relation to these affairs. This is considered one of the effective ways to create a stronger bond with (Allah) God (Aldohni 2015).
