Abstract

Once the robot has been assembled and calibrated, it is ready to start working on its first application. The procedure followed by an application engineer to prepare the robot for a specific task is called commissioning. We focus here mainly on the software details and assume that all the hardware components have been wired correctly. It is always advisable to double-check all the connections before powering up the system.
