Abstract
In-plane elastic neutron scattering studies of K(ND3)XC24 were carried out to further test and refine the x-ray derived structural model [1] of the 2D K-NH3 liquid intercalant layers. Additional structural information was obtained because the neutron and x-ray scattering processes emphasize the different pair correlation functions of the K-ND3 disordered intercalant system.
