Abstract

Beyond the fact that it has permitted the gathering of senior and junior scientists active in the field of Super-Intense Laser-Atom Physics, the NATO Advanced Research Workshop held in Han-sur-Lesse, has displayed several new interesting features in the development of this very active branch of atomic and molecular physics. I present here an account of my personal views on the recent development of the field, as it appears in the light of the lectures delivered during the workshop.
