Abstract
Cell cytoskeleton enables cell deformation, in particular when the cell is immersed in a mechanical stress field, as well as transport of intracellular cargos (Chap. 9), cell division (Vol. 2 – Chap. 2. Cell Growth and Proliferation), and motility (Vol. 2 – Chap. 6. Cell Motility).
