Abstract

In recent years two broad methods emerged for the construction of factorial designs: (a) use of cyclic or generalized cyclic designs and (b) use of Kronecker or Kronecker-type products. Both the methods lead to designs with OFS and, if appropriately used, are capable of ensuring high efficiencies with respect to the interactions of interest. In this chapter, the method (a) will be reviewed. The method (b) will be taken up in the next chapter.
