Abstract

For measurement of acoustic properties of laterally uniform specimens several methods were developed. The most popular technique is based on processing data acquired by focused transducer as a function of specimen displacement z1. Velocity and attenuation of leaky surface acoustic waves (LSAW) as well as a reflectance function can be determined from the V(z) curves.
