Abstract

This project finds its inspiration from hip-hop music and clothing. Many rappers and MCs have made the hoodie an icon within street fashion, and I think it’s time to physically incorporate music into this garment by making the actual garment a beatbox sequencer. A sequencer is a device or software used to record, edit, or play music. The beatbox hoodie’s sounds will be programmed, but what separates the sequencer in this project from a normal one is that this sequencer will be voice activated. Rap** and beatboxing at the same time is hard, but with this hoodie you can at least bring the beat at any time.
