Site
Lake Nasser lies between latitudes 23°58′N and 20°27′N and longitudes 30°07′E and 33°15′E (Kim and Sultan, 2002; Ball, 1927; Dasco 1998a, b). The total length of the reservoir is about 500 km, with 150 km in Sudan (Lake Nubia) and 350 km within the Egypt’s borders (Kim and Sultan, 2002; Ball, 1927; Dasco, 1998a), see Figure 1.
